Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a genre of music I need to be familiar with?

Nope! We have experience with many genres: country, pop, classical, and Gospel. We are happy to work with any genre you are interested in (except for maybe rap – because TBH you dont want to hear Tonya rap). The genre is much less important than your work ethic, breathing, and technique.

How does one select a vocal teacher?

Rock, paper, scissors is an option – OR you could consider the following: You want more than just a vocal cheerleader, you want someone who can show you HOW to sing. Not just what to sing and how to memorize words. We focus on technique and breathing, in order to elevate vocals to the next level.

Is there a vocal range I need to be?

Nope! Tonya, our founder & lead vocal coach, is a Soprano and has experience teaching all ranges.

Is there an age range for vocal lessons?

Nope! We teach all ages, levels and styles and the lesson plan will be adapted specifically for you based on your goals and performance opportunities.
